According to Datuk Sri Dr Fong Chan Onn (sos), about 1.5million Malaysians migrated to other countries from year 1960 to year 2005.

Last year reported that 304,358 Malaysians migrated to other countries from March 2008 till Aug 2009 (sos)

So, how many?

What annoys the gomen is that well educated, clever malays are leaving.
well to do, tax paying people are leaving.

+1

its quite hypocritical for gomen to keep preaching us to stay in a shitty education system when they are sending their own children out? if malaysian education was THAT good, why the love tak nak hantar anak sendiri masuk local U?

why not enforce strict guidelines for government employee's working attitude? i have seen too much internal issues that contradicts their statement on brain drain issue, its not the country at fault, its the problem with people that are making the big decision, if they cant even give the people a good example, what do they expect la? people also got brain and common sense.
